Metal Atomizer
The Problem
The computer, control boards, and electronics at a laboratory were obsolete. The system needed new hardware and software, allowing new features to be included.
The Solution
JET updated the computer and added a real time cRIO from National Instrument. NI LabVIEW was used to improve the user interface. JET assisted in the integration and validation of the product.
The Outcome
With an improved system came a better understanding of the atomization process. This allowed the customer to better maintain the particles within the desired tolerance. JET and the customer are looking into extending the results of the project into additional atomizers. In this way, the customer can improve the quality and efficiency of its research.
