The Problem

JET’s agricultural client needed to perform a real world validation without leaving the lab.

The Solution

 JET Engineering leveraged its experience in the agricultural industry to develop a system to quickly validate software changes in embedded controllers. This system utilized a number of unique features using Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing. JET’s custom-built solution includes a Faraday cage for isolating GPS and RF signals, as well as a variety of user interfaces that allow rapid validation across a variety of product lines.

The Outcome

Features included a Faraday cage for isolation of GPS and RF receivers, validation of multiple serial, analog, and digital signals, support for machine vision systems, and multiple interface for various product lines. Benefits to the client included automated rapid testing of software changes, the ability to safely validate code in simulated real world conditions, and custom-built interfaces for multiple product lines.
